Last night I started feeling a sore throat coming on--and I woke with it this morning. Jason climbed in bed with me a little before 7 am and I told him I wasn't feeling well. I asked him if he would take care of me today. He of course said yes, and then immediately leaned over to kiss me on the cheek and started patting and stroking my arm for a few minutes. It made my heart melt.
While I'm at it, another thing that makes my heart melt is holding Jason and Addie's little hands as we walk along. I love it when they reach up for my hand--even if we are just walking down the hall in our home.

What a sweetie. Jaya doctored me up this week too. I love the holding hands...Jaya is still a cuddler but does the hand holding less and less these days..I miss it!
Your so sweet. I've just recently figured out that Ky's (my 4 yr old) love language is touch (and I am anything but touchy, sadly) so now that I know I've made a big effort to cuddle lots each day, and even just hold her hand when she's in trouble or throwing a fit, and oddly she calms down, and is loving back to me, even if she's still sad that I said "No" about something. It's amazing. Have you ever read the "5 Love Languages"? There's one for adults and another for kids.
