Postpartum HAIR Blues

Yes...I am one of those women with dramatic hair loss after I have a baby, and I need you advice...

I had heard about this phenomenon when I was pregnant with Jason--silly me, I thought it applied to the fine hair on my tummy and arms--or even better leg hair! That would be awesome, am I right, to have less leg hair to shave when adjusting to a new baby :)

Anyway, no such luck--it's lovely head hair. Initially, I didn't mind because I had always had extremely thick tresses--but it has never rebounded to what it once was. My hair has become a little thinner after each subsequent baby.

It comes out by the hand fulls in the shower. And then more falls out as I brush my hair post shower. Each day I am shocked out what fills the bathroom trash can! Because of this "fun" side effect I have always cut my hair soon after having a baby. Otherwise, I have two different lengths of hair: a thick layer near my shoulders and an extremely thin long layer near my shoulder blades.

So my plea to you? Reccommend hairstyles for me! Should I try to keep it long in hopes the the two lengths won't look bad? Highlights? Bangs? Pictures of possibilities would be great--but any thoughts would be appreciated!

The second one in the previous comment would look so good on you! With your face you could do almost any haircut. I actually had that haircut and loved it - if it's cut right, all you need is to put some curl cream or something in your hair when it's wet, and it will always look good.
Do you have a good stylist who knows how to cut curly hair?

You definitely need to go for the angled bob. It will help your hair look fuller and it's easy to style.
