Little Snoozer & Big Brother Bruiser

She is so sweet!

This Little Snoozer fell asleep watching TV while I was trying to slice apples. Big Brother was trying to be a helper to wake her up -- it was only 11:30. I wanted to just transition her to her crib...but I made the mistake of taking a picture and video first. My distracted state of admiring how adorable my daughter is, allowed Jason to completely wake her up. So "up," that it took 1 1/2 hours for her to wind down in her crib before falling back to sleep. Gotta love big brothers :)

Her reaction (oh man, I just watched the video and saw that I stopped filming right before she screached at him in annoyance) in the video actually reminds me of a trick my brothers played on me one time when I too fell asleep on the couch. They rigged up a string with a weight on the end and hung the string on a hook in the ceiling right above me. This way they were able to move the wited string down to tickle my face, and then up when I sleepily tried to swat at some annoyance. They bugged me with this for a few minutes. Finally I was roused enough to realize they were behind whatever it was that was ticlkling my face. At his point I said "YOU GUYS" in a very whiny and disgusted tone. Got up. And stormed off to my bed. And yeah, they filmed the entire scene (my how I wish I could put that on this blog). Gotta love big brothers :)
