Day one is over and it was a success! I debated whether I should train Addie with little brother or sister just around the corner. She has shown signs of readiness for months now..but between holidays and everything else I didn't feel confident about it. Anyway, after a day like today I'm glad we decided to do it now--before the baby comes. I am much more laid back about it this time compared to how stressed I was with Jason. Mostly because I recognize that accidents are a good thing, helping her to learn. And we have been counting down the days to get our carpet cleaned anyway :) She only went through 5 pair of unders--so only 5 accidents. With all the juice I pushed on her, 5 amazes me.
Here they are watching Word World (I think). Jason was a big helper today--although sometimes it would have been nice if I had set up to have him play at a friends house--too much of a helper ;)

Yeah for Addie! And yeah for Laura being so brave! Is that her little blue panties? So cute. Well I hope things go well for you - Corilynn told me today she had to poop - wait for it.. BEFORE she did it! Yeah yeah yeah. Too bad I had to run her upstairs because the downstairs potty was occupied by an older brother. check my blog later, I have a halarious video to show that I foudn in my efforts to get her poop sorted out.
Yeeeeah! It will be interesting to see how it all turns out. They say girls are easier to potty train. My first son did fairly well, and we are apprehensive about our second son since they are quite different. Little Bro tells us before he needs to go #2, so that is a good sign, but we'll see. We haven't really tried training him yet though. Good luck, I'm sure it will all go well.
